Publication: Morphoelectric & transcriptomic properties of L1 interneurons
Just out in Science: A detailed analysis of the morphoelectric & transcriptomic properties of L1 interneurons in mouse & human neocortex.
Thomas Chartrand et Al. managed to define different types of L1 neurons using single-cell trancriptomics.
They found that “cell types in both human and mouse were differentiated by morphological and electrophysiological features related to basic neuronal function.” They further characterized 2 of the found cell types, the “rosehip” and a “PAX6-expressing” type.

Publication: Neuronal wiring diagram of an adult brain
“The first neuronal wiring diagram of a whole adult brain, containing 5×10^7 chemical synapses between ~130,000 neurons reconstructed from a female Drosophila melanogaster” has been published as preprint – and ariadne.ai ag is part of it 🍾

Great news, our team is growing!
Hoyeon Lee started as web developer at ariadne.ai. Hoyeon studied Education technology and Multimedia. Afterwards she started working in a DevOps team before she specialized in
Web development. At ariadne.ai Hoyeon will use her skills the optimize our #customerjourney and #customerexperience. We are happy to have her onboard adding further knowledge to our team.
