Are you a creative mind with a strong background in automated biomedical image analysis? ariadne.ai ag is looking for a full-time data scientist for fast prototyping of machine-learning based biomedical image analysis workflows. You will work in close interaction with our clients from world-leading research institutes in order to develop novel automated image processing workflows for their biomedical image data. You will mainly work in Python to explore and develop prototype workflows that produce tangible results for our clients. You will be backed by ariadne.ai’s powerful IT infrastructure and our experienced scientists and developers. Our large team of professional image annotators will allow you to produce the required high quality ground truth annotations for your machine-learning project in-house within a few hours.

Job Details

• Fast prototyping of biomedical image analysis workflows in Python.
• Managing customer projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintaining and improving quality assurance processes for increasingly complex data labeling, driving the optimization of the project workflow.
• Managing the annotator team through development, pilot and implementation stages, and review processes of your projects.
• Working on diverse and scientifically sophisticated biomedical image analysis problems.

Requirements

• Strong background in biomedical image analysis and data science.
• Proficiency in biology, physics or computer science or related discipline.
• PhD or 2-3 years of experience in research and biomedical image analysis.
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload.
• Reliable and accurate working attitude with an eye for the details.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
• Hands on microscopy experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English language, German would be a plus.
